Welcome to the 2024 Caramba Beef Shorthorn Sale
We are excited to invite you to our online auction of Caramba Beef Shorthorn breeding stock, in partnership with Harrison & Hetherington (H&H), Carlisle, and hosted on the Mart Eye platform.
Mark your calendars for the closing of the sale at 8 PM on Monday, June 3rd, with an on-farm open day on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.
It hard to believe, its been six years since our last online Caramba Beef Shorthorn sale, a record-setting event that continues to hold the record for the highest-priced pedigree Beef Shorthorn female in Ireland.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to all past buyers from our previous sales for your ongoing support and trust in our breeding program.
As we gather again, we reflect on the years passed and remember those friends and loved ones who are no longer with us. Among them was my son, Killian, whose memory remains a guiding light in my day-to-day activities. We believe their spirits continue to watch over us, inspiring us, and guiding us.
This year’s sale features an exceptional lineup, including 14 maiden heifers ready for mating, showcasing lineage from distinguished sires such as Carrarock Chalkie, Westmoor Merlin, Podehole Beefeater, HC Free Spirit, and Eionmore Ideal 50p. We also proudly present a young bull with special bloodlines, poised to begin our sale with promise.
Special thanks to Alfie Shaw for the outstanding images that bring our catalog to life, to Trevor Chadwick for his impeccable on-farm management, and to James Little for facilitating the sale with Harrison & Hetherington / Mart Eye. Understanding the logistical needs of our buyers, we are pleased to offer free transport for any UK-based buyers to H&H Carlisle for collection, and direct transfer arrangements to your farm can also be accommodated. Free transport also extends to our home-based buyers, should you wish to avail of this.
Join us on Sunday 2nd June on the farm and more importantly, login to H&H / Mart Eye to follow our sale online on Monday 3rd June, 2024.
Warm regards, Tommy
